Friendship Cask #2 has arrived - the second in our series of three exclusive single casks, released only to Friends of Laphroaig.
Matured for eighteen years in a 1st fill bourbon barrel, this cask carries a depth and sweetness all its own. An almost tropical character - smoke, vanilla, and caramelised pineapple - sits alongside the character Friends know well.

Tasting Notes
Nose: An almost tropical sweetness, smoke, then vanilla.
Palate: Syrupy sweet caramelised pineapple and fresh mango notes layer with the smoke to produce a robust flavour.
Finish: Viscous and mouth-coating - the smoke roars to the fore right at the end.
Maturation
1st fill bourbon barrel, distilled January 2008.
